Field Supervisor

Location: Based in Hearst, Ontario, with travel to sites across Northern Ontario

Salary: Competitive wage based on experience

Schedule: 14/14 rotation, typically 12-hour days (subject to change based on operational needs)

In this role, you’ll:

·         Be the lead on-site for civil construction, earthmoving projects, road maintenance, forestry and mine site projects.

·         Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and schedules

·         Keep the work moving safely and efficiently

·         Act as the main on-site contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

What you need to bring:

·         5+ years of experience in construction, forestry, or similar fieldwork

·         Proven ability to lead teams on job sites

·         Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making skills

·         Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

·         Valid G-Class driver’s license

Bonus points if you have:

·         Experience using scheduling tools or project tracking software

·         Post-secondary education in construction, civil engineering, or project management

·         Bilingual (English & French)

·         Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la construction, de la foresterie ou d’un secteur connexe

·         Expérience démontrée en gestion d’équipe sur les chantiers

·         Excellentes aptitudes en communication, coordination et prise de décision

·         Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans et devis

·         Permis de conduire de classe G valide

Atouts :

·         Expérience avec des outils de planification ou des logiciels de suivi de projet

·         Expérience en soudure

·         Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
