Job Description

The Corporation of the Town of Hearst is seeking an autonomous and reliable individual to fill one (1) permanent full-time position of Equipment Operator.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate trucks, heavy machinery and various pieces of equipment to undertake repair, maintenance and construction work under the responsibility of the department;
• Carry out various manual tasks.

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
• Experience and training in operating heavy machinery, including loaders and other construction equipment;
• Capable of working under adverse conditions.

Salary:

The salary is established according to Schedule A – Wages and Classifications of the Collective Agreement, being $33.24 per hour.
